The last 20th of January took place the inauguration of the new plant to supply water to the town of Pesquera de Duero. The project was fully implemented by Aguambiente.
With this new plant is guaranteed water supply to the population and the all companies in the municipality.
The event was chaired by the Counsellor of Finance Pilar del Olmo and Counsellor of Environment and Development Antonio Silván of Junta de Castilla y León.
This new infrastructure, undertaken in 2011 by the Public Corporation for the Environment of Castilla y Leon (Somacyl) this is an investment by the Junta de Castilla y León 1,077,294 EUR.
Aguambiente is the company that awarded the project, which was carried out in 9 months.
The facilities have been planned and executed according to the following process with a flow of 50 m3/h:
-Water catchment from the river.
-Canalizing as far as the drinking water treatment plant.
-Impulsion as far as the elevated reservoir with direct supply to the urban core network.
-Recovery installation washing water.
-Line treatment of sludge generated.
Aguambiente will provide the services management and operation of the plant during the next two years.
