The purification process is based on a roughing pre-treatment, after which the effluent will be subjected to a dissolved air flotation treatment. This is followed by SBR biological treatment before the anoxia zone to reduce the load to permissible discharge levels. Finally, the sludge generated in this treatment process will be subjected to dewatering by means of a centrifugal decanter, which will increase the dryness of the sludge.
