Aguambiente joins to the World Environment Day

Aguambiente joins to the World Environment Day, under the slogan ? Raise your voice, not the sea level?. With this slogan the Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente (PNUMA) want to increase awareness about the situation of risk in the Small Island Developing States (SIDS ) due to climate change, in support of the appointment of the United Nations in 2014 as International Year of Small Island Developing States.

UNEP’s objective is to focus public attention on those territories on the occasion of the International Conference on Small Island Developing States which will take place in September and explain the importance of these; as well as the urgent necessity to protect the islands of the growing risks and challenges they face as a result of climate change. World Environment Day is an excellent opportunity to ask all solidarity with the small islands.

Aguambiente wants to contribute to the awareness that it is time to realize that taking care of Earth is the responsibility of all of us and to become changes agents, for that reason has done in the company a collage in which employees will hung their ideas and commitments to care for the environment.
