On 2 February, Junta de Castilla y León and Ministry (MARM) signed protocol of cooperation between both parties. This agreement carries forward the National Plan for Water Quality 2007-2015. The estimated investment of 1,050 million EUR, will be funded 30% by the Ministry, while the JCyL will pay 70%.
These actions affect the 5 basins, although the principal is the Douro basin that absorbs 85% of the investment.
Aguambiente is specialist treatment of industrial wastewater and urban water, available to all municipalities that request information and technical advice for the implementation of its WWTP.
