Last May 21st was celebrated II Marco Agreement for Industrial Innovation and Competitiveness of Castilla y León from 2010 to 2013, an act which has brought together over 600 representatives of economic and social agents, businessmen, and members of the University and regional institutions, including Aguambiente SL.
The event was chaired by the President of the Junta de Castilla y León, Juan Vicente Herrera, the Second Deputy of the Junta de Castilla y León and Councillor of Economy and Employment, Tomás Villanueva, the president of the Confederation of Business Associations (Cecal) Jesús Terciado, and general secretaries in the Community of UGT, Agustín Prieto and CCOO, Ángel Hernández.
The new agreement has the following agreed objectives in the field of social dialogue:
Strengthen the process of economic convergence with Europe and improving territorial cohesion within the region.
Promote the creation of stable employment, quality and maintenance of existing employment.
Promote a model of economy based on innovation and knowledge.
Encourage the establishment of enterprises, promoting industrial diversification and cooperation.
Help the internationalization of enterprises in the Region.
Improving business competitiveness and sustainability.
Increase respect for the environment and the development of Corporate Social Responsibility.
Facilitating access to finance businesses in the Community.
As a novelty, the new Plan develops a momentum in Research, Development and Innovation, calls for the strengthening of financing ADE to replace the concept of non-repayable grants for capital refundable. That is, once again surpassed the status of a region aim 1, the aim is to access an advantageous financing for companies in the same way that introduces a new strategy for the creation and consolidation of companies.
