Aguambiente is currently renovating the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) at an industrial bakery. The renovation will be carried out in two phases.
The aim of the first phase is to boost the functioning of the settling tanks from the biological treatment outlet using a parallel dissolved air flotation system. The device installed is an Anaconda® dissolved air flotation unit providing treatment at a rate of 20m3/h.
An automated polyelectrolyte dosing system has also been supplied. The device features three chambers: one for mixing, one for maturation and another for collecting the mature polyelectrolyte at the optimal time for use.
In the second phase, the homogenisation and biological treatment systems will be extended. Two W-Tank® tanks will also be installed.
